Beds Size Guide

Beds are usually sold in mattress sizes, whilst the actual size of the bed frame is slightly bigger.

Our beds are sold in mainland European basic sizes (sometimes called Euro-sizes in UK), which means that they come in metric measurements and they all measure 200cm in length (approx. 6ft 7in).

This is good because the bed has to be around 15cm (6in) longer than the tallest person sleeping in it, so standard 190cm long single and double beds are often unsuitable. European sizes are also slightly wider than their imperial size name-sakes, which gives more sleeping space for each person.

It is recommended to always buy the biggest bed/mattress that you can fit in your bedroom – the bigger the mattress, the better quality sleep at night. Please measure the room before buying to ensure the bed will fit in the assigned space. When buying the mattress, please ensure the measurements are compatible by checking the actual dimensions of the mattress and not the descriptive name alone.
