Metal Design Furniture and Summer/Spring Colours 2015

Metal Design Furniture’s first priority is not just comfort, but also comfort in a style that suits you and reflects your own preferences – and colours are a perfect way of adding the last edge of individuality to your home.

With spring already upon us, we thought it is time to bring you the up-and-coming colour trends for the spring and summer of 2015 to go with your already fashionable furniture.

Fashion and home website pantone.com describes this season’s colour trends as “cooler and softer color choices with subtle warm tones follow[ing] a minimalistic en plein air theme, taking a cue from nature”.

Cushions of softer brown and orange for your Paris chair, such as reddish brown and a subtle yellow, can give your garden a current, trendy feel as well as providing calm and comfort. These colour trends can also be applied to your bedroom, with gorgeous results – shades of blue, green and grey, such as aquamarine and lucite green are particularly fashionable. For example, you can embellish your beautiful Classica bedframe with summery turquoise cushions or a glacier grey throw.

Metal Design Furniture, together with your style and personal preference, can convert your home into a perfect summer dwelling.

You may have heard, in previous weeks, about our collaboration with Tinsley Wood Interior Design– first on an outside venue, The Secret Garden (pictured to the left), and then on an exciting new project for which Metal Design Furniture designed and produced special decorative pieces.

We will have more information about the second project soon – keep your eye out! – But until then, we’d like to bring another update, this time from designer Sam Tinsley-Wood herself!

The interior designer has recently posted a review on Metal Design Furniture’s Facebook page. “I have worked with Metal Design Furniture on two commercial projects now where timescales were tight,” she explains, and goes on to say, “Metal Design Furniture delivers exactly what it promises and its attention to detail and perfectionism is exemplary.”

We are so pleased by her positive review – and it has been a delight and a pleasure to work with her too!

Collaboration Series Part II: Metal Design Furniture In A Second Exciting Project…

A few weeks ago, we heard about Metal Design Furniture’s beautiful collaboration with interior designer Sam Tinsley Wood to produce a gorgeous outside venue – The Secret Garden – in Rochdale, Lancashire (for a reminder, click here for the full post).

But our collaboration doesn’t end here! Metal Design Furniture is now working on a second exciting project with Tinsley Wood Interior Design, this time in the restaurant and wine shop Cenetta.

A glimpse of our exciting new project

Though the project is still currently a work in progress, we can share some exclusive new details about Metal Design Furniture’s part in the plan and give you a taste of our work.

Cenetta’s design idea is unique – it is decorated as a striking, venerable old church. Designer Tinsley Wood envisioned antique forged effect panels as decorative details for pillars – and we provided, pictured to the right.

The pieces were created through sanding the laser-cut pieces with a special procedure to achieve the perfect rustic effect.

We hotly anticipate seeing the finished result – they will undoubtedly look magnificent! If you would like to see the end product, too, look out for more updates on this project, due in the near future.

Metal Design Furniture’s Winter Accessories

We are now well and truly in winter – it’s time to cuddle cozily in front of the fireplace, have some tea and relax so now the comfort of your home is even more important to Metal Furniture Design than ever.

Although it’s been cold enough until now, we can be grateful that it wasn’t the coldest winter on record – like the winter of 1962-3. During this winter, snow as deep as six meters stranded people in their homes and storms brought down power lines. January was the coldest month

England has experienced since 1814!

Thankfully, this winter isn’t nearly as cold, and we can make sure you are well-equipped and ready for the rainy and windy days ahead with our wide variety of coat hangers and umbrella stands – making sure that your home is gorgeous, just the way you want it, all year round!

For example, why not go for the elegant Isaac Coat Stand for a minimalistic look and to help you keep your home tidy from just £70.50? It fits into every corner of your home and is practical as well as decorative!

Or, for a slightly more dramatic, extravagant look, you can buy the Classico Coat Stand to go perfectly with your fur coat – it costs just £303! It also has a matching umbrella stand to go with it – the Classico Umbrella Stand.

Metal Design Furniture wishes you a cozy, warm and stylish winter!
